Crypto prop firms that pay in USDT
Ten of the twenty-one firms compared here publish USDT. The rail, the minimum and the cycle decide whether the money actually arrives.
Ten of the firms compared here publish USDT as a payout rail, and the table below is those firms only. The ticker does not decide what you receive: the network, the minimum withdrawal and whether payouts are on demand or tied to a cycle do.
The other eleven listed firms are not on this page, because their own published rails name no USDT: AquaFunded, Breakout Prop Firm, Propr and Instant Funding pay in a token other than USDT, City Traders Imperium, Fundedbit, For Traders and FX2 Funding in crypto without naming the token, and E8Markets, Kraken Prop and MyFundedPerps outside crypto entirely.

USDT is not one thing: the network decides the cost
A USDT payout arrives on a specific chain, and the chain changes what you actually receive. TRC-20 transfers are cheap and fast and are the default for most crypto prop firms; ERC-20 transfers move on Ethereum, where gas can eat a meaningful share of a small withdrawal; BEP-20 sits on BNB Chain and behaves like a cheap alternative to ERC-20. A firm that pays "in USDT" without naming the network has not told you what you are getting, and the wrong choice at withdrawal is usually irreversible.
Two practical consequences. If you intend to withdraw small amounts frequently, confirm the network and the minimum withdrawal first - a $20 payout on ERC-20 can cost more in gas than it delivers. And if you send to an exchange deposit address, make sure it accepts the same network; a TRC-20 transfer to an ERC-20-only address is a loss with no recourse.
USDT versus USDC payouts
USDC appears at ten of the twenty-one listed firms, six of them alongside USDT (HyroTrader, Funded Trader Markets, FundedNext, Velotrade, Crypto Fund Trader and FXIFY); AquaFunded, Breakout Prop Firm, Propr and Instant Funding take USDC but no USDT. Where a firm offers both, the choice is mostly about where you want the funds to land and which chain your exchange supports cheaply. Neither is a yield instrument - if you plan to hold the stablecoin rather than convert, the issuer risk of the stablecoin is now part of your position, and that risk is not covered by anything the prop firm promises.
What to confirm before you request a payout
- The network, written down, and the same one your receiving wallet accepts.
- The minimum withdrawal. A first payout below the threshold usually rolls into the next cycle, which is the most common reason traders say a firm "didn't pay".
- Verification status. Six of the ten verify identity before the first payout and four before activation.
- The cycle. On-demand payouts and fixed split days are different products. The timing column states what each firm advertises, and "on demand" describes when you may ask, not when the money lands.
- The wallet. A whitelisted address you control, not an exchange account you might lose access to during a verification review.
Reading a payout claim
"Pays in USDT within hours" is a marketing sentence until it is attached to a process. The version worth trusting names the network, the minimum, the review step before payment and the cycle. When a firm's payout page reads like terms rather than a slogan, that is usually a sign the operation is mature; when it reads like a countdown timer, treat the timing as aspirational and size your first withdrawal accordingly.
Common questions
- Do crypto prop firms pay in USDT or USDC?
- Ten of the twenty-one firms compared here publish USDT and ten publish USDC, six of them both. Three publish no crypto payout at all (E8Markets, Kraken Prop and MyFundedPerps).
- Which network do prop firms use for USDT?
- TRC-20 is the most common because it is cheap and fast, with BEP-20 and ERC-20 appearing at some firms. Confirm the network on the payout form rather than assuming.
- Is a USDT payout taxable?
- In most jurisdictions receiving profit in stablecoin is a taxable event, and the answer depends on where you are resident. This site does not give tax advice; keep records of the payout, the network and the date.
