Review

HyroTrader review: crypto challenge from $19

HyroTrader runs three formats rather than one product at three prices: Zero-Step settles in a single trading day, One-Step in five, Two-Step across two phases, on 700+ coins through Bybit or Binance, with payouts in USDT or USDC inside 24 hours. Maximum loss is 5% on Zero-Step, 6% on One-Step and 10% on Two-Step, with daily limits of 3%, 4% and 5%, so the cheapest entry ($59) also carries the widest room and the fastest route the tightest. You keep 80% of profit as standard and up to 90%, and the One-Step and Two-Step deposits come back with your first payout. The Zero-Step fee does not.

Every figure below comes from HyroTrader's own published terms, linked at the foot of this page. We have not traded this account and this is not a rating out of five.

The four numbers

  • Cheapest challenge$19 for a 5,000 account$9.96 per $1,000 at the $25k size
  • Profit split80% to 90%$277 of profit to clear the fee
  • PayoutsWithin 24 hoursUSDT / USDC
  • Drawdown and rules10% total (2-Step)$2,500 of room on a $25k balance

Every figure in this panel comes from HyroTrader's own pages, linked in the sections below. Where a firm publishes nothing, this says so rather than filling the gap.

Every plan, its own rules

HyroTrader sells four models and the rules are not interchangeable.

HyroTrader: target, drawdown, daily limit and split, plan by plan
PlanProfit targetMax drawdown Daily lossSplitEntry fee
Hyro Core Evaluation profit target 10%. Max loss 5% - a static limit fixed to the initial balance. Daily loss 3%. 80% $19 at $5,000
One-Step Evaluation profit target 10%. Max loss 8%, with a static daily drawdown fixed to the initial balance. Daily loss 4%. Starts at 80%, up to 90% $69 at $5,000
Two-Step 10% in phase one, then 5% in phase two. Max loss 10%, with a static daily drawdown fixed to the initial balance. Daily loss 5%. Starts at 80%, up to 90% $59 at $5,000
Zero-Step Not published on the pricing page. Not published on the pricing page - the checkout carries Hyro Core, One-Step, Two-Step and Hyro Instant. Not published on the pricing page. 80% $89 at $5,000

Each of the four states its own daily loss limit beside the total drawdown.

Entry fee is the cheapest size each plan is sold at, the same rows the ladder above prices. Every figure is the firm's own wording, read from the plan pages linked under Sources.

The rules that decide whether you pass

HyroTrader sells 1-step / 2-step / zero-step challenges; on its $25k account, hit 10% then 5% (2-Step) before breaching 10% total (2-Step). Leverage is 1:100 and the account is traded on Bybit, Binance. 700+ cryptocurrencies, traded through Bybit or Binance are available, so the instrument set is broad enough that position sizing matters more than the rules do.

Verification is a step to unlock the funded account, not a payout gate; the same FAQ lists 'KYC & Agreement' before 'Connect Your Funded Account'. Applies to Hyro Instant too.

“Once approved, you’ll need to complete KYC verification on your Hyro profile, agree to the terms and conditions (which includes signing the funded trader contract), and fill out the funded trader form. Once these steps are completed, you’ll be ready to start trading on your demo funded account.”

Two practical warnings for this structure. A 10% total (2-Step) / 6% (1-Step) / 5% drawdown (Zero-Step) sounds generous until you measure it against the volatility of the coins you trade: a 3% overnight move on a large position is normal in crypto and can take most of that in one candle. And the profit split of 80% to 90% applies to profit you withdraw, not to the account balance, so plan the first payout before you start rather than after you pass.

Payouts and verification

How it pays

Rails: USDT / USDC

Timing: Within 24 hours

Paid in USDT or USDC within 24 hours. On One-Step and Two-Step the challenge deposit is returned with the first payout; the Zero-Step fee is not refundable once activated.

Before you request

Verification: Before activation - Verification is a step to unlock the funded account, not a payout gate; the same FAQ lists 'KYC & Agreement' before 'Connect Your Funded Account'. Applies to Hyro Instant too.

Restricted: Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe

Support: what this firm publishes about its own support - channels, stated hours, any response-time claim in its own words.

Confirm the network for any USDT or USDC withdrawal and the minimum payout on the firm's dashboard before you trade to the target; those two settings, not the split, are what turn a payout into a delay.

Strengths and trade-offs

What it does well

  • Zero-Step, One-Step and Two-Step under one roof, from $59 to $1,299
  • Two-Step carries 10% total room, the widest of the three formats
  • 700+ tradable coins through an exchange account you probably already use
  • Fast USDT/USDC payouts, deposit returned with the first payout on One-Step and Two-Step

What costs you

  • Zero-Step takes 5% total room and a 3% daily limit, the tightest on the menu
  • Split starts at 80%, not the 90% on the homepage headline
  • Crypto-only: no forex or indices
  • Zero-Step fee is non-refundable once the challenge is activated

What traders like, and what they don't

What they do not

  • Visible negatives are thin on the first page; the substantive complaints sit further back and need a deeper pass

These are reviewers' claims, sorted into praise and complaints, not our verdict: a complaint is not proof and a five-star review is not verification. Our own assessment of the terms is above, in What works and What costs you. Read on 2026-10-25; the sources are the firm's review page.

Who it suits, and who it does not

Suits: Experienced crypto traders who want a one-step evaluation and trade on Bybit or Binance already.

Does not suit: Anyone who needs more than 10% total room - that is the widest format here - or a trader who wants one set of rules instead of three.

How it compares with the rest of the list

At the $25k size HyroTrader sits at $249 for its Two-Step account with a split of 80% to 90% and a 10% total (2-Step) / 6% (1-Step) / 5% drawdown (Zero-Step). The firms that undercut it charge less for the challenge but usually ask for a tighter drawdown or a one-step target, and the firms that publish wider room to trade ask more up front. If the deciding factor for you is the split rather than the fee, read the side-by-side comparison before choosing.
