Review
FX2 Funding review: crypto challenge from $50
A price-led multi-asset firm that pays quickly, including in crypto. For crypto traders the 1:2 leverage is the limiting factor, whatever the entry price.
Every figure below comes from FX2 Funding's own published terms, linked at the foot of this page. We have not traded this account and this is not a rating out of five.

Every plan, its own rules
FX2 Funding sells three models and the rules are not interchangeable. The same menu holds a 6% limit beside a 10% one.
| Plan | Profit target | Max drawdown | Daily loss | Split | Entry fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step | 10% | 6% trailing the high-water mark of closed balance, locking at the starting balance at +6% | 4% of the higher of closed balance or equity at 5pm EST | 75% (up to 95%) | $60 at $5,000 |
| 2-Step | 8% then 5% | 10% static, from the original balance | 4% of the higher of closed balance or equity at 5pm EST | 80% (up to 95%) | $50 at $5,000 |
| Instant Funding | No target | 8% maximum drawdown per the programme rules; the product card states 6% trailing | 5% | 80% (up to 95%) | $200 at $5,000 |
Each of the three states its own daily loss limit beside the total drawdown.
Entry fee is the cheapest size each plan is sold at, the same rows the ladder above prices. Every figure is the firm's own wording, read from the plan pages linked under Sources.
The rules that decide whether you pass
FX2 Funding sells 1-step / 2-step / instant challenges; on its $25k account, hit 8% then 5% (2-Step) before breaching 10% static, 4% daily (2-Step). Leverage is Crypto 1:2, FX 1:100 and the account is traded on cTrader, DXtrade, Match-Trader, PropX. FX, metals, indices, energies and crypto CFDs are available, so the instrument set is broad enough that position sizing matters more than the rules do.
The Instant Funding plan defers verification and the trader contract to the first withdrawal request.
“After passing, you’ll need to complete KYC verification and sign a contract.”
Source: the firm's own page, read 2026-11-08. Our classification: Before activation.
| Product | When | The firm's rule |
|---|---|---|
| 1-Step | Before activation | KYC after passing, before the funded account and contract. |
| 2-Step | Before activation | KYC after passing, before the funded account and contract. |
| Instant Funding | Before payout | Instant Funding defers verification and the trader contract to the first withdrawal request. |
| Product | Type | Rule in the firm's terms |
|---|---|---|
| 2-Step | Static | 10% static from the original balance. |
| 1-Step | Trailing | 6% trailing. |
| Instant Funding | Static | 8% from the original balance. |
Two practical warnings for this structure. A 10% static, 4% daily drawdown (2-Step) sounds generous until you measure it against the volatility of the coins you trade: a 3% overnight move on a large position is normal in crypto and can take most of that in one candle. And the profit split of 80% base, 95% add-on applies to profit you withdraw, not to the account balance, so plan the first payout before you start rather than after you pass.
Payouts and verification
How it pays
Rails: Crypto to wallet / Rise bank transfer
Timing: 48 hours, average 8 hours
Requests every 14 days, or every 5 days with an add-on, with a minimum withdrawal of 1% of the starting balance.
Before you request
Verification: Before activation - The Instant Funding plan defers verification and the trader contract to the first withdrawal request.
Restricted: United States, Canada, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen
Support: what this firm publishes about its own support - channels, stated hours, any response-time claim in its own words.
Confirm which coin and which network the payout arrives on, and the minimum payout, on the firm's dashboard before you trade to the target; this firm publishes the rail only as crypto, so those two settings, not the split, are what turn a payout into a delay.
Strengths and trade-offs
What it does well
- Cheap entry at $50 for a 5k two-step
- Crypto withdrawals go straight to your own wallet
- Fast payouts and no time limit on the evaluation
What costs you
- Crypto leverage of 1:2 cannot carry a real crypto strategy
- The published drawdown text contradicts the rule table on the 1-step plans
- US and Canadian traders are barred outright
Who it suits, and who it does not
Suits: Traders who mostly trade FX and want a cheap, fast-paying evaluation.
Does not suit: Crypto-only traders and anyone in the US or Canada.
How it compares with the rest of the list
At the $25k size FX2 Funding sits at $235 for its 2-Step account with a split of 80% base, 95% add-on and a 10% static, 4% daily drawdown (2-Step). The firms that undercut it charge less for the challenge but usually ask for a tighter drawdown or a one-step target, and the firms that publish wider room to trade ask more up front. If the deciding factor for you is the split rather than the fee, read the side-by-side comparison before choosing.
