Which is cheaper, size by size
FundedNext is cheaper at 3 of the 3 sizes where both publish a price. Comparing the entry tier alone hides that: fee ladders do not scale at the same rate, so the cheaper start can become the dearer account.
| Account size | FundedNext | Instant Funding | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25k | $199.99 | $234 | FundedNext |
| $50k | $299.99 | $439 | FundedNext |
| $100k | $549.99 | $813 | FundedNext |
What the fee buys, and what it takes back
The $34.01 gap is 0.2 cheap attempts at the Instant Funding fee. The fee is also only the entry cost: at the headline split, FundedNext has to make $211 of profit before the attempt has paid for itself, and $260 at Instant Funding.
| Measure | FundedNext | Instant Funding |
|---|---|---|
| Fee for a $25k attempt | $199.99 | $234 |
| Fee per $1,000 of account | $8.00 | $9.36 |
| Profit needed to win the fee back at the headline split | $211 | $260 |
| Account destroyed on a bad day (drawdown in dollars) | $2,500 (10%) | $1,500 (6%) |
| Drawdown type | static | static |
Cost per $1,000, the break-even profit and the cost of 1% of drawdown are our arithmetic from each firm's published fee, split and limit; each drawdown figure is the firm's own percentage for the plan that fee buys, applied to a $25,000 balance.
The rule that ends most attempts
At $25k there is $1,000 more room at FundedNext ($2,500 against $1,500), which is 4.0 percentage points of the account.
Getting the money out
FundedNext pays USDT (ERC-20/TRC-20) / USDC (ERC-20) / RiseWorks / Bank transfer, Instant Funding pays USDC (ERC-20) / Rise bank transfer. Timing is not the same either: Within 24 hours, with a $1,000 penalty if late against Within 48 business hours.
Worth checking against your own cash-flow: a fast rail that pays into an account you then have to move is not the same as one that lands where you spend it.
Where they actually differ
- FundedNext advertises the higher split ceiling (80%, up to 95% with add-ons).
- Verification differs: FundedNext verifies identity before the account activates, Instant Funding verifies identity before the first payout.
- Payout rails are not the same: FundedNext pays USDT (ERC-20/TRC-20) / USDC (ERC-20) / RiseWorks / Bank transfer, Instant Funding pays USDC (ERC-20) / Rise bank transfer.
- there is no pass mark at Instant Funding: 5% profit unlocks payout, where FundedNext wants 8% then 5% (Stellar 2-Step).
The decision rule
At $25k, if you routinely risk more than 6% of the account in a session, Instant Funding is the one that ends the attempt, not FundedNext. If the first attempt is a test rather than a plan, FundedNext at $29.99 with code NOVSTR costs less to be wrong about. If identity documents are the sticking point, note that FundedNext verifies identity before the account activates and Instant Funding verifies identity before the first payout.
